Why drop shipping ads suck!

What is Drop Shipping? Drop shipping is moving products directly from the manufacturer to the end-user without the usual intermediaries. Drop shipping sales representatives do not carry an inventory by their nature and therefore mostly electronically generate their promotional materials. Why do drop shippers suck at promoting their products?

  1. No Features and Benefits demonstration– People do not want to see an electronically generated product promotion. They want to see a product demonstration and view the quality of the product. I always say if a shop owner is cute or attractive, I do not see why they do not demonstrate their products. Other than having a lack of faith in actually pre-purchasing from their manufacturer.
  2. You don’t show how the product wears – If you sell T-shirts you need to test how the prints actually look. Some things look good in a digital rendering but look actually absurd on an actual model. Personally if I am a customer and I can’t see how the clothing looks on an actual model. I am not buying it! Plus drop shippers order a lot of their goods over seas for their customers. So how can you tell if the materials are not potentially dangerous for the clothing?
  3. No use of appeal strategy – What is your product appeal? Is it sex, humor, bandwagon, security or is it creative? Again this is a very hard thing to do with digitally rendered promos. For example, refer to Lemao’s Instagram promo:

Why you should stop using Digitally rendered promos when possible?

Banana shirt
Digitally rendered T-Shirt product promotion– It looks cartoonish, non-authentic and fake.

Actual printed shirt – It folds, you see how the design wears and what skin tone the color looks well on.

Why use a web publisher.png

Hello WordPress Readers, Facebook friends, & YouTube viewers.

Why do you want to use a web publisher instead of a developer? A developer cares about developing and maintaining your website. They do not care about your business, sales or marketing success with your website. A web developer is a good option if you need a massive internal system with logins, massive data collection, and CRM support. A publisher is great because they can lead you in the direction of creating positive brand content.

Here are three reasons why a Publisher better suits servicing your business:

  1. We care about sales success through the website – A developer only really cares about “Does the website function?” Sure you can have a functional website easily that never convinces anyone to buy anything. If you want to sell goods or services however you need someone who gives function advice, content advice and researches the most brand effective content for your page.
  2. Business & Customer service expertise – Ever talked to a web developer and realize “No one has taught this computer geek any manners.” Personally, I check in with people I have helped and I do that without looking to upsell them at all at times.
  3. Get found – Web developer specializes in execution. Web Publishers specialize in getting you found. Especially if you are a start of a business. The biggest challenge for a starter business in drop shipping, E-commerce and more is just breaking obscurity.

So stop hiring complicated designer nerds. What you need is a publicist. Someone who takes a drop shipping company and turns it into a lifestyle brand. Someone who takes starving artists and turns them in to press sensations.  Not someone who only cares if the website and graphics are purely functional!
